The Covenant Social Service (CSS) in consultation with the Uniting Church of Sweden (UCS) started the initial discussion with regards to the three years project 2018-20. The CSS and the UCS agreed that they will take these initial project ideas to the right holders and duty bearers and other stakeholders for their input and suggestions. Accordingly the CSS developed these ideas and presented to the right holders and other stakeholders for discussion and input. This was done in several meetings with right holders, duty bearers and other stakeholders in several stages in different villages. The CSS together with the stakeholders came up with issues which affects the right holders and civil society.
On the basis of the suggestions and input from the right holders and other stakeholders the CSS prepared questionnaires and interview plan for the right holders and other stakeholders. After preparing the questionnaires the CSS initially did the survey with the right holders, duty bearers and other stakeholders to assess the context and needs. The CSS called for the meetings separately with right holders and administered the questionnaires and asked for their responses, which were recorded in the questionnaires by the recorders. The duty bearers and other stakeholders were interviewed using the same questionnaires to find out their views about the issues, problems, and needs. The questionnaires were tabulated, analyzed, and interpreted by CSS to find out the major areas of issues and concerns affecting the target group. Major findings of the survey were recorded for developing the project application.
