Child Rights Project: Restoring childhood imparting rights.
Project Location: Pune and Mumbai, Maharashtra State, India.

The children between the age group of 4 to 16 years, from the 4 target slums of Mumbai and Pune, were devoid of one or the other fundamental rights of survival, development and protection. They are migrants, destitute, school-drop-outs, are working and belong to the low-income families. These children face the challenging conditions in the overcrowded settlements, suffering exclusion from essential services like health care, clean water, sanitation, education, electricity, etc. Covenant Social Service through its intervention aims at the holistic development of these children by ensuring their rights and by transforming their lives through the bridge course, vocational trainings, leadership development, facilitating Children’s Parliament. The parents and community leaders are also intervened with. The slum children are able to avail of their fundamental rights to education and health. Their dreams and rights are restored by Covenant Social Service.
