Hannah's Trip to HCC India

Hanna Joy Root, is a third year student in North Park University, USA.  She is continuing her studies in Elementary Education.  She had visited HCC, India during January 2011 with a musical team from her university.  This visit had touched her life and had encouraged her to come again and involve in the ministry of the Church. 

She actively involved herself and contributed a lot to the projects of HCC among children and women.  She writes down her experiences of three months in this way…

With the generous support of Mission covenant church of Sweden, the old AG7 conventional bulbs are now replaced with new and sophisticated Halogen Bulb at Nannaj Health centre.

Inauguration of St. John’s School, Gulbarga

HCC/CSS vision to provide quality education to poor children in and around Gulbarga has come true. On March 2011, new building for St. John’s School at Gulbarga was inaugurated in an auspicious way. Now the school has 16 class rooms, administrative block and the meeting hall. The new building of St. John’s School is constructed with the generous support of partners in Sweden. Around 17 friends from partner organizations in Sweden were present to bless the occasion.  Nearly 350 well wishers of the school including HCC office bearers and staff, various church leaders and parents of students were present on the day.
